Sonepar to become majority shareholder of Factory Systemes Groupe in 2021

Sonepar is accelerating its digital transformation and aims to become the leader in the electrical distribution sector by offering a complete range of services, including software solutions.

This acquisition will enable Sonepar to develop its high value-added digital offerings in a fast-growing market, and to address the entire sector with an Industry 4.0-oriented positioning. Leveraging Sonepar's global presence and customer portfolio will generate numerous business opportunities for Factory Systemes Groupe, with the aim of accelerating its development and diversifying its service offerings.

Our history

2026

Factory Systemes Groupe acquires 8L Software Solutions and expands distribution in Benelux and Scandinavia.

2023

Wonderware Italy joins Factory Systemes Groupe, reinforcing its presence in Europe and its capacity to support over 10,800 manufacturers.

2021

Factory Systemes Groupe joins forces with Sonepar to become a major player in Industry 4.0 and accelerate the digital transformation of manufacturers.

2020

Factory Systemes Groupe acquires Schneider Electric Software GmbH (AVEVA) and develops its activities in Germany and Austria with a local team.

2018

Factory Systemes Groupe was created to structure activities and pool key functions (finance, HR, IT, etc.).

2014

Factory Systèmes expands, increases its logistics capacity and opens a new integration workshop for industrial PCs.

1999

Wonderware Suisse is created, then joins Factory Systemes in Morges with an autonomous organization.

1998

Factory Systemes becomes an Aaeon distributor and expands its range of fanless industrial PCs.
