Digitizing France's first Gigafactory with AVEVA MES
ACC (Automotive Cells Company) plans to start production of its first Gigafactory in late 2023 at Billy-Berclau, in the Hauts-de-France region of France. Specializing in the manufacture of batteries for electric vehicles, the company operates in a demanding technological environment, combining advanced chemistry and complex industrial processes. To support the ramp-up of this new plant, ACC was faced with an ambitious challenge: to design a high-performance MES system from scratch, capable of real-time production control, complete traceability and quality improvement. Thanks to AVEVA solutions, distributed by Factory Software, ACC is building a forward-looking digital factory.
